Yes, whoever drives the buggy needs a valid car driving licence. Passengers do not need a licence. All Bontour Monção tours are guided, with a professional guide accompanying the route.

Yes. Bontour Monção buggy tours suit all levels, from beginners to experienced drivers, and a professional guide always accompanies the group. Before departure you receive an initial driving and safety briefing.
Bontour Monção is located at Estrada S. João de Longos Vales, no. 4106, Souto Fiscal, 4950-255 Monção, in the Alto Minho region, home of Alvarinho wine. It is about 1h15 from Porto via the A3 or A28 and about 45 minutes from Vigo (Spain), crossing the Monção–Salvaterra de Miño international bridge. It is close to Melgaço, Valença and Arcos de Valdevez.
The 60-minute tour costs 70€ (2-seat buggy) or 100€ (4-seat buggy). The 120-minute tour costs 130€/190€ and the Pôr do Sol (sunset) tour, lasting 2 hours, costs 140€/200€. The price is per buggy, not per person.
The 60-minute tour is Easy level, with a stop at the Marco do Bustavade. The 120-minute tour is Medium level and climbs the Serra da Anta, with views over Anhões and Luzio. The Pôr do Sol (sunset) tour lasts 2 hours, is Easy level, and its start time is arranged on request.

If weather conditions make the route unsafe, the tour is rescheduled at no cost. For cancellations by the customer, we ask that you contact us as far in advance as possible.
We recommend comfortable clothes that can get dirty and closed footwear. In winter, bring a jacket; in summer, sunscreen. The necessary protective equipment is provided by Bontour Monção.

The tours run all year round, subject to booking. The Pôr do Sol tour starts at a variable time, adjusted to the sunset time in each season — the exact time is confirmed at booking, on request.
